Baer Racing does brakes, and nothing but brakes, so they know what they are doing. The Baer Eradispeed rotor is a stock-sized replacement rotor that uses an aluminum center "hat" section in place of the factory cast iron. The result is lower weight (front rotor weighs only 16.0 pounds; rear is 11.7), plus an increased ability of the rotor center to dissipate heat. We've had our Evo Enkei wheel center caps melt at the road course, which demonstrates how much of the braking heat transfers to the hub!
The cast iron rotor ring is slotted to aid in venting spent pad gasses or water vapor. Each rotor ring is then finished with a zinc wash for rust resistance. (This wash wears off, of course, where the pads contact the rotor.)
Sold as a set of rotors, front or rear. Works with any Evo that has stock Brembo calipers.
